Jennifer Gold is the Principal Lawyer of Gold Family Law and an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario. She brings extensive adjudication experience to her practice as a part-time adjudicator for the Law Society Tribunal and the Ontario Land Tribunal. Since 2021, she has
served as a Dispute Resolution Officer for the Superior Court of Justice, facilitating early resolution in family law matters.
A recognized leader in the legal profession, Jennifer served as president of the Women’s Law Association of Ontario and currently sits on the Board of Legal Aid Ontario. She also serves as a board member of the Ontario Justice Education Network, contributing to legal education in Ontario.
Jennifer’s commitment to advancing the legal profession extends to mentorship, where she actively guides emerging lawyers through programs with the Women’s Law Association of Ontario, the Peel Law Association, and York University’s Advancing Women program.
Her innovative approach to legal practice gained national attention when she and her former law partner, the Honourable Frances Wood (now of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, Family Court), were featured in a 2014 Toronto Star article titled “Women create family-friendly law practice.”
Jennifer received the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto’s Award of Excellence in 2025, the Ontario Bar Association’s Award of Excellence in Promoting Women’s Equality in 2021 and was honoured with a Lexpert Zenith Award in 2017, celebrating her role in advancing women in the legal profession.
Danette attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. She articled with the Family Responsibility Office (FRO) and was hired as regional counsel until entering private practice in 2008. Danette remained on the panel for the FRO and is therefore familiar with FRO practice and policies. In 2023, Danette joined a community legal aid clinic as its Legal Director and advocated on the behalf of marginalized and impoverished communities in Ontario.
As part of her work, she was able to achieve a change in immigration policy for child welfare survivors to acquire Canadian permanent resident/citizenship status.
Danette is an experienced litigator, having appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. She has established relationships with the Bench and Bar across the GTA and Ontario and is well-respected among her colleagues.
Danette is an empathetic lawyer and uses plain language to communicate with her clients and when drafting legal documents. She believes in resolving her clients’ issues in a pragmatic and conciliatory manner, understanding that families need to function during and after litigation. Danette’s approach remains child-focused at all times, and she attempts to ensure parent-child relationships continue unaffected by parental conflict. Danette enjoys the challenging and dynamic nature of law and advocating on behalf of clients who are experiencing one of the most stressful times in their lives.
Andrea obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary in 2002 and her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2006. During her time at the University of Victoria, Andrea participated in the University of Victoria’s Intensive Clinical Program at The Law Centre, where she appeared in court frequently, assisted with mediation, and conducted hearings before administrative tribunals, including the BC Human Rights Tribunal. Upon graduation, Andrea articled for a large corporate commercial firm in Calgary, Alberta. After being called to the Alberta Bar in 2007, she moved back to Victoria, B.C. with her Husband and worked at a small general practice firm.
Since moving to Toronto in 2009, Andrea has practiced family law exclusively and has represented clients in all aspects of family law matters, including custody and access, child support and spousal support, division of property and divorce. She is an experienced negotiator and appears in court on behalf of clients on a regular basis. Andrea has also completed Collaborative Law Training and is eager to offer these services to her clients.
Andrea’s practice is built on hard work and insight based on experience. Successful outcomes in family law matters are the result of careful preparation and appreciation of a client’s needs. Andrea is compassionate, approachable and practical and has a genuine desire to help. She is always working to find cost-efficient and timely resolutions to her client’s family law issues so that her clients can start to build a bright new future.
Leah has developed a broad family law practice, with experience in both the Ontario and Superior Courts, high conflict separation and divorce proceedings. She is authorized to be a Collaborative Family Law professional in Ontario.
After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2012, Leah articled for a government organization as part of the Ministry of the Attorney General. While articling, Leah carried a heavy litigation caseload and worked on matters in the Ontario, Superior and Appeal levels of court. She recently appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, representing intervenor, Disabled Women’s Network of Canada, in Ahluwalia v. Ahluwalia.
Leah obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa. During law school, she worked at West End Legal Services, a legal aid clinic, a spot for which she competed and won. At West End Legal Services, Leah advocated for clients with disabilities who could not afford counsel before the Social Benefits Tribunal. She was also involved in Reach Canada, Ecojustice, and Pro Bono Students of Ontario. When she graduated, she was awarded the Social Justice Option with her degree, and was honoured with the Dean’s Award for excellence. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Queen’s University and during law school, she studied abroad at the University of Puerto Rico. Leah served on the Board of Directors for the Peel Law Association.
Margaret values strong, compassionate advocacy for her clients. She obtained her law degree at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. She received a number of awards, which include Torts I and II, Civil Procedure, Legal Research and Writing, Appellate Litigation, Commercial Law, Business Administration, and Trial Simulation. Prior to that, Margaret graduated with an Honours degree in Criminology and Employment Relations from University of Toronto. She completed her accreditation and articling, and was called to the bar in 2012.
Margaret frequently appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. She is greatly involved in the legal community and believes in fostering strong relationships with others. She is a member of the Peel Law Association and recently co-hosted their recent Judges Night event.
Margaret is committed to helping others and looks forward to ensuring clients’ needs are met, with a particular interest in resolving these needs using alternative dispute resolution methods such as negotiation, mediation and collaborative family law. Margaret will assess each client’s needs and determine the appropriate means of resolution.
Suha prides herself on working constructively and respectfully with client and counsel to resolve matters as comprehensively as possible. Suha obtained a degree in Political Science from York University where she received numerous academic accolades and graduated with a summa cum laude distinction in 2008. She received her J.D. from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law in 2011. Throughout law school, Suha volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance, Student Legal Assistance and with the Elizabeth Fry Society as a youth and adult court worker.
Upon completion of her studies, Suha articled with a boutique family law firm in Mississauga and was called to the Ontario bar in 2012. Suha joined a small firm in the heart of downtown Calgary where she practiced in the areas of family law and immigration law for five years.
During her practice, Suha represented clients in the negotiation and settlement of their family law matters. She also obtained experience successfully arguing cases before various levels of court and tribunals, including The Federal Court of Canada, The Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, The Provincial Court of Alberta, The Refugee Protection Division and The Immigration Appeal Division.
Georgia understands the importance of strategic advice for her clients and seeing the big pictures. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Great Distinction from McGill University, her Master of Arts from New York University and her Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prior to practicing law, Georgia worked as marketing manager in the medical device industry. Her experience in the business sector informs her practical, cost-effective and efficient approach to the practice of law. Georgia strives to provide her clients with practical advice and a timely resolution but also uses the court when necessary to achieve results for her clients.
Georgia is fluent in French and Greek, and also speaks Spanish.
Sarah supports her clients throughout their legal matter with her strong work ethic and compassionate approach. She is attentive to her clients’ needs and tailors her methods to their unique circumstances. She pursues efficient solutions that allow her clients to move forward with their lives. Sarah can also offer legal services in Urdu.
Sarah received her Juris Doctor degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. She first joined Wood Gold as a student-at-law, and returned to the firm as an associate lawyer. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from the University of Victoria.
During law school, Sarah represented clients in their matrimonial disputes at UBC’s family law clinic. She honed her advocacy skills in her articling term by assisting on a wide range of family law matters. Sarah continues to practice family law and has experience resolving cases through negotiation and the court process.
Victoria has extensive litigation experience and prides herself on her ability to communicate with and build relationships with her clients. Victoria is a strong legal advocate and understands that every case brings with it a different set of circumstances and thus, the need for an open mind and creative and strategic legal representation.
Victoria graduated from the dual Juris Doctor program with Michigan State University College of Law and the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2018, earning her law degree in both Canada and the United States. Prior to law school, Victoria graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa, where she double majored in Political Science and Women’s Studies.
Victoria was sworn into the Illinois bar in 2019 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2022. Victoria practiced family, real estate, and estate planning law at a midsized law firm in Chicago prior to relocating to her home province of Ontario and joining the team at Gold Family Law.
Liliana is committed to offering clients compassionate, respectful and dedicated legal services, in both English and Portuguese. She practices family law with a client-focused approach and strives to see matters through to successful completion. Liliana is a member of the Peel Law Association, and she regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
Liliana holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from Carleton University in Criminology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from City Law School at the University of London, England. Upon returning to Toronto, Liliana obtained a Master’s degree at Osgoode Hall in Canadian Common Law, and was then called to the Ontario Bar in 2022.
Parminder Kaur Jheetey (Pam Jheetey) is an Associate Lawyer at Gold Family Law and a certified Family Mediator. She earned her LL.B. in India, a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, and completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto
Metropolitan University. Additionally, she holds a Mediation Certification from York University, where she deepened her understanding of family dynamics, types of families, the impact of violence on children, and the importance of giving voice to the child in every matter.
Pam has always been driven to help children affected by broken marriages, guiding families through some of their most challenging moments. Her practice is rooted in flexibility, client-centred advocacy, and empathy. She leads with empathy in every matter, understanding that each family’s circumstances are unique, while advocating with zeal to achieve her clients’ goals. Whether through litigation, negotiation, mediation, or collaborative family law, she tailors her approach to meet her clients’ needs. When children are involved, Pam places a strong emphasis on child-centred solutions, ensuring their well-being and best interests are prioritized throughout the process.
A lifelong problem-solver and natural mediator, Pam is passionate about helping families navigate complex conflicts with care, compassion, and clarity. She is also an avid writer and an

Sabrina obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from Carleton University before moving to the UK to attend law school at the University of Sussex. She completed her NCA accreditation while working in the UK, where she gained valuable experience at a property and estates law firm in
Brighton. Upon returning to Ontario, she articled at a prominent Toronto estates firm before being called to the Ontario Bar in October 2025.
